Blenheim Palace

Spend some time in the picturesque market town of Woodstock, with honey-coloured streets full of boutiques and interesting antique shops. Home to the twelfth Duke and Duchess of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace is a true masterpiece of eighteenth-century Baroque architecture. It is also home to the famous Marlborough Tapestries (the ‘Victories Series’) and a magnificent Long Library, where its walls are lined with more than ten thousand books.

Experience the charms of the Cotswolds as you travel past traditional pubs, old coaching inns, thatched cottages, speciality shops, tea rooms, honey-coloured villages and peaceful, picturesque valleys.

A morning visit to the beautiful city of Oxford, a fairy-tale place known as the 'City of Dreaming Spires'. With many listed buildings, it is the perfect place to explore. You may like to take the opportunity to visit the museums, old colleges and the castle, which are all in the centre as well as the shops, cafés and the famous covered market.
