Edinburgh City

Explore the capital’s royal connections, stroll along the Royal Mile to the castle and view the “Scottish shops” that offer souvenirs alongside top-quality cashmere, whisky and delicious handmade fudge, take an open top bus tour, discover world-class museums or enjoy shopping along Princes Street and perhaps visit Jenners, the landmark department store that first opened its doors in 1838.  There are many bars and restaurants too.

For those who prefer, our coach will drop passengers at the zoo.  Located in 82 acres of sloping parkland on the outskirts of the city, it is the largest and most exciting wildlife attraction in Scotland.  Visitors can experience close contact with over 1,000 rare and endangered animals and take part in a variety of events and activities.  Take the opportunity to feed the rainbow lorikeets, visit the outdoor penguin pool and meet the penguins when they take their world-famous Penguin Parade or enjoy a tour in the hilltop-safari bus.  The wide range of facilities include safe play areas, cafés and kiosks, lots of benches and outdoor picnic areas, a Penguin Coffee Shop, a restaurant in the Mansion House and a fantastic gift shop.  Please click here to visit the Edinburgh Zoo website.

**Note entrance to Edinburgh Zoo is not included**

Royal Yacht

Alternatively, the coach can drop you off at the Ocean Terminal where you can board “Britannia”, the floating Royal residence of Her Majesty the Queen.  Follow in the footsteps of world leaders such as Sir Winston Churchill, Nelson Mandela and Rajiv Gandhi.  After visiting the Royal Yacht, take time to wander the magnificent Ocean Terminal set on the waterfront with its wide variety of shops, restaurants and other attractions to keep you entertained and help you enjoy a superb day out for all the family.  Please click here to visit the Royal Yacht Britannia website.
