Nenagh is the second largest town in Co Tipperary, a former market town noted for its historic castle, Franciscan abbey and the old jail. It is a great base from which to explore the area, including Limerick and Galway.

There will be three excursions on this tour, Limerick City, Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, the City of Galway and the historic market town of Roscrea before visiting Kilkenny Castle.

What's Included?

The deposit required at the time of booking for all holidays is £30 per person, full payment is required 28 days prior to departure.

Limerick

There is something for everyone in Limerick City, there is the cathedral and castle, shops, Georgian and medieval architecture, traditional pubs, fashionable bars and lovely waterfront. Admission is included to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, a fifteenth-century tower house and the most complete and original medieval castle in Ireland.

Galway

The harbour city of Galway is known for its great atmosphere and culture. Although it is Ireland's fourth largest city, it retains its ‘small town’ character. Arched bridges, medieval town walls and a long promenade are just some of the delightful sites that Galway has to offer. Take the short journey to the seaside resort of Salthill, with stunning views over Galway Bay.

Kilkenny Castle

See the historic market town of Roscrea before visiting Kilkenny Castle, dramatically set overlooking Kilkenny City. The original stone castle was built during the first decade of the thirteenth-century and over the years, there have been many alterations and additions, making it a complex structure of various architectural styles.
