Be mesmerized by the unspoilt beauty, the history, culture and attractions that Scotland has to offer.  See ancient castles, famous lochs and the ‘Harry Potter Train’ and visit a distillery and the historic Royal Yacht Britannia.

 

There are so many places you will see during this action packed holiday, it’s one that should not to be missed!  Some of the areas you will visit are Glencoe, ‘Monarch of the Glen Country’, ‘Whisky Country’, Loch Ness, Pitlochry and Scotland’s capital city of Edinburgh.  There are also some fantastic experiences included too.

The deposit required at the time of booking for all holidays is £30 per person, full payment is required 28 days prior to departure.

Jacobite Steam Train

Depart Crianlarich through Glencoe. Board the steam train on the West Highland Line, the most scenic of European rail journey's. Return by road stopping at various vantage points on the way, Neptunes Staircase and Glenfinnan Momument. Arrive back in Fort William before heading through 'Monarch of the Glen Country'.

Whisky Trail

The 'Malt Whisky Trail' is the world's most recognised whisky region. On the 36 mile trail there are 14 distilleries including famous brands like Glenfiddich and Chivas Regal. We stop at one for an expert tour and tasting. Then the Moray Coastline with a lunch stop at Johnstons Cashmere in Elgin, take the guided tour and see the only mill in Scotland to transform raw cashmere to the finished article. Returning via Nairn.

Blair Castle

Depart hotel through Speyside and to Blair Castle, home of the Duke of Atholl and the only castle to have its own private army! Dating back to 1269 it is unique amongst Scottish Castles. Hear the stories from Mary Queen of Scots to Bonnie Prince Charlie, and see the magnificent interior of the castle. Afterwards there will be free time in the Victorian spa town of Pitlochry before making your way to Stirling.

Edinburgh

Passing the Kelpies, we head into Edinburgh, with free time to see the castle, Royal Mile, Princess Street. Afterwards, board the Royal Yacht Britannia, home to the Royal Family for over 40 years. Discover the heart and sole of this most special Royal Ship. See the New Forth Road Bridge before returning to the hotel in time for a farewell Scottish night and entertainment.

The price quoted is for a return journey and is also a per person rate. Where a ferry is required for the outbound/inbound journeys, the ferry charge of £30.00 is included in the home pick-up price.
