Royal Hotel, Oban

 

Standing proudly in the centre of town, with an elegant Victorian exterior, overlooking the bay. This hotel offers quality modern surroundings along with a traditional dining experience. The comfortable lounge bar is a great place to socialise or simply sit back and watch the world go by. (lift)

 

 

Day One

Depart from your selected joining point and travel to the Royal Hotel, Oban. Comfort stops will be made en-route.

Day Two

Unwind on the ferry ride from Oban to Craignure on the captivating Isle of Mull, taking in the stunning views as you pass Glen More. At Fionnphort, hop aboard as a foot passenger for the brief journey to the peaceful Isle of Iona. Explore the historic Abbey, the burial site of Scottish Kings, and experience the deep Christian heritage that defines this small yet historically significant island.

Day Three

Immerse yourself in sheer beauty as you travel through the dramatic, pre-historic landscapes of Rannoch Moor and Glen Coe, famously referred to as 'The Glen of the Weeping'. Journey past the Bridge of Orchy and through striking landscapes, revealing stunning views of the iconic Buachaille Etive Mor. Take a break at the Glencoe Visitor Centre, where you can delve into the rich history of this famous site. Finish your adventure with a scenic drive along the serene shores of Loch Linnhe and Loch Creran.

Day Four

Enjoy a relaxed day in the charming coastal town of Oban. You can join a boat tour from the lively harbour or take a leisurely walk along the Esplanade, watching the boats drift in and out. Be sure to visit McCaig's Tower for stunning panoramic views, and don't miss the chance to sample a wee dram at the local distillery.

Day Five

After breakfast you leave Oban to start the journey home. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
