The picturesque, Victorian town of Pitlochry, is set in the heart of Scotland.  The beautiful buildings are set against a backdrop of forest and hills and is surrounded by lochs, castles and a wealth of history.  There are many independent shops and cafes along the pretty streets and you may like to see the festival theatre and the Pitlochry Dam and Fish Ladder.

 

We have included two excursions, a visit to Aberfeldy then Crieff and a scenic drive before visiting Balmoral (April) or Blair Castle (September).

The deposit required at the time of booking for all holidays is £30 per person, full payment is required 28 days prior to departure.

Aberfeldy

The lively, pretty town of Aberfeldy is set on the River Tay, Scotland’s longest river and was made famous by the poet Robert Burns. Perhaps take the opportunity to visit Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery or the watermill. On to Crieff, a bustling country town and home to the famous Grouse Experience.

Scenic Drive

A scenic excursion through the Spittal of Glenshee to Royal Deeside, an area much loved by the Royal family. A short break will be made in Braemar, a delightful place surrounded by spectacular scenery. For the April departure, entry is included to Balmoral grounds, gardens, gift shop, café and the stunning ballroom. Then to the picturesque, Victorian village of Ballater. For the September departure, entry is included to the beautiful Blair Castle (in place of Balmoral) where you can explore seven hundred years of history throughout the various rooms and gardens.

Belfast-Cairnryan: 0730 and Cairnryan-Belfast: 1930 (return time approximately 2200)

Fishers Hotel, Pitlochry

 

Set in the heart of the Victorian town of Pitlochry, the hotel has a lovely mixture of Georgian and Victorian architecture, high ceilings, bay windows and pretty secluded gardens.

The price quoted is for a return journey and is also a per person rate. Where a ferry is required for the outbound/inbound journeys, the ferry charge of £30.00 is included in the home pick-up price.
