Day One

Depart from your selected joining point and travel to the Raddison Blu Hotel, Durham. Comfort stops will be made en-route.

Day Two

Step back in time at Beamish Museum, where history comes to life in vivid detail. Nestling within 300 acres of picturesque countryside, you'll experience what life was like in the 1820s, 1900s, and 1940s. Explore the stunning manor house and railway, take a tram ride through an authentic Edwardian market town, visit Home Farm, stroll through the Pit Village, and enjoy a ride on a classic carousel.

Day Three

Enjoy a leisurely journey through the picturesque Durham Dales, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, leading to the charming market town of Barnard Castle, known for its bustling Wednesday Market. Continue to the Bowes Museum, an impressive French-style château surrounded by elegant gardens and home to the exquisite Silver Swan.

Day Four

A free day to explore the enchanting medieval city of Durham, a delightful destination with its ancient winding streets, majestic castle, and grand cathedral. Nestled along the scenic River Wear, Durham's well-preserved architecture and picturesque setting make it one of the UK's most charming and historic cities. The Market Place serves as a central hub, offering a variety of shops to explore.

Day Five

After breakfast you leave Durham to start the journey home. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
