Located in the heart of Newcastle city centre, this modern hotel offers a prime central location and attractions right on the doorstep.  Renowned for high standards, stylish rooms and tasty menus, the Maldron is the ideal place to enjoy a leisurely getaway. (lift)

 

Day One

Depart from your selected joining point and travel to the Maldron Hotel, Newcastle. Comfort stops will be made en-route.

Day Two

Head to the historic town of Alnwick. Enjoy a visit to Alnwick Castle, which featured in the Harry Potter Films; and Alnwick Garden, which is one of the world's most extraordinary contemporary gardens, with its Rose Garden, Serpent Garden, Poison Garden and Grand Cascade.

Day Three

Embark on an insightful guided tour of the area, where you'll gain a deeper understanding of its rich history and culture. Following the tour, enjoy ample free time to discover the dynamic spirit of Newcastle-upon-Tyne at your own pace. Wander along its iconic bridges, marvel at the picturesque quayside, explore the historic castle, and browse through its unique and quirky shops. With a multitude of attractions and activities, this bustling city offers a diverse range of experiences to delight every visitor.

Day Four

Experience the pristine beauty and breathtaking coastline of Northumbria on today's excursion along the Northumberland Heritage Coast. Explore the enchanting Holy Island of Lindisfarne (tides permitting), home to its historic Priory and castle. Discover the charming village of Bamburgh, renowned for its stunning coastal castle, and visit the quaint fishing village of Seahouses, each offering its own unique appeal.

Day Five

After breakfast you leave Newcastle and travel home. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
